Job summary

Sunreef Yachts is expanding its Systems Department and seeks a Mechanical Engineer with strong piping and routing design experience for luxury yachts in Ras al-Khaimah. You will create 3D SolidWorks models (Routing) and produce precise 2D drawings for production and installation.

Experience with vessel systems integration, good communication, and fluency in English are required. Prior yacht or shipbuilding exposure is a plus, as is a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with piping design and system layout.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, including the Routing module.
• Ability to read and produce technical schematics and installation drawings.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for catamarans, with a focus on piping and routing
• Create and manage 3D models in SolidWorks (Routing)
• Produce accurate 2D drawings for production and installation
• Ensure system integration across all departments (Electrical, Composite, Interior, Naval Architecture, Production)
• Optimize layouts to ensure functionality, accessibility, and efficiency onboard
• Support coordination between design and production teams
