Job summary

Sunreef Yachts in Ras Al Khaimah seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design sheet metal structures and hydraulic kinematic systems for luxury yacht platforms. You will translate concepts into production-ready solutions with a strong emphasis on manufacturability and marine performance.

Responsibilities include creating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings, selecting materials and coatings, and collaborating with production, suppliers, and QA to ensure quality, safety, and durability across Sunreef’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical design experience, preferably in marine.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and kinematic mechanisms.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks required; AutoCAD preferred).
• Ability to read and create technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop sheet metal components and weldment assemblies for marine platforms.
• Prepare 3D models and 2D drawings with tolerances and weld symbols.
• Design hydraulic systems and kinematic mechanisms; perform motion and strength calculations.
• Support validation, testing, and on-site troubleshooting.
