Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts seeks a Restaurant Manager for our Turkish and Lebanese dining destination on Hayat Island. You will lead a premium service team, uphold luxury dining standards, and ensure smooth restaurant operations from reservations to guest recovery.

Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a strong advantage. A diploma or degree in hotel management and at least two years in a managerial role are expected to drive exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality.
• Minimum two years of experience in a management role.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage; Turkish/Lebanese cuisine knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the service team through regular briefings, on-the-job training, and performance feedback.
• Set, monitor, and deliver high service standards in line with brand expectations and luxury dining principles.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations including reservations, service flow, and guest recovery.
• Handle feedback and complaints professionally and drive service improvements.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure menu knowledge, food quality, and timing.
• Manage staffing, rosters, and productivity in line with business levels and budget.
• Drive upselling initiatives, promotions, and service rituals to maximise revenue.
• Monitor costs, stock, wastage, and inventory with finance/store teams.
• Review daily reports and P&L, providing input and action plans.
