Job summary

Louis Vuitton in Dubai seeks a Women’s Universe Merchandising Manager to support the Merchandising Director in developing and executing strategies that drive sales, optimize inventory and enhance store performance across the network.

The role spans Leather goods, Ready-to-Wear, Shoes, Accessories, Fragrance & Beauty, requiring hands-on operations with high-level oversight and final decision-making. English fluency is essential; French/Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6-7 years of progressive experience in merchandising, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, within the luxury retail sector.
• Demonstrated experience in the Middle Eastern market is preferred.
• Strong understanding of luxury consumers and market dynamics in the region.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful merchandising strategies that drive sales and profitability.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English is required; French/Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising and Buying Strategy: Build the seasonal assortment for the categories, balancing commerciality, brand image and store-level nuances across the region.
• Represent the Middle East market at Paris showrooms and buying sessions, defending regional needs and market specificities.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and client feedback to inform assortment and pricing decisions.
• Commercial Follow-Up & Stock Management: Analyze weekly sales, sell-through and stock data; identify risks and opportunities and initiate corrective actions to drive Retail to limit depreciation.
• Own the allocation strategy across doors, ensuring the right product is in the right store at the right time.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Retail leadership and Store Managers to gather qualitative feedback and align on product priorities and store-level actions.
• Work closely with Visual Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing and Communication to ensure aligned execution of launches, events and the commercial calendar.
• Act as the voice of the Middle East region with Zone Merchandising teams, ensuring local specificities are reflected in global strategy.
• Collaborate with Learning teams to develop and elevate the Retail team.
• Lead, coach and develop direct reports (Product Merchandisers/Product Merchandiser Assistant), fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
• Deliver product and category training to store teams, building compelling product storytelling.
