Job summary

Rixos Bab Al Bahr is seeking a Food & Beverage Server to ensure exceptional service in our luxury hotel restaurant. You will greet guests, explain menu items, take orders and deliver meals with precision and a polished, guest-centric approach.

The role requires at least 1 year of food and beverage serving experience, good communication skills, and knowledge of POS systems. English fluency is assumed; knowledge of Russian is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Secondary education is required.
• Minimum 1-year food and beverage serving experience.
• Additional foreign language (Russian) is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Read daily events and acknowledge VIP arrivals.
• Know menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation; relay to guests politely.
• Present children’s menus when appropriate and describe specials.
• Serve and clear food and beverages professionally.
• Use POS to ring up sales, print checks and cash out.
• Carry trays, bus and reset tables with linen, china, glass and silver.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly restaurant during service.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation and hygiene policies.
