Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Previous experience in a similar Multi‑Skilled Technician or Engineering role within a luxury hotel environment.
• Previous experience in property management or building maintenance.
• Positive attitude and a proactive approach to work.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong commitment to delivering high levels of service.
• Excellent grooming and professional standards.
• Flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to respond effectively to different work situations.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety, quality, and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out painting, touch-up, varnishing and polishing works throughout the hotel, including guest rooms and public areas.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling and repairing minor imperfections.
• Mix and match paints and finishing materials to ensure consistency with approved colour schemes.
• Apply paints, varnishes, stains and finishing materials using brushes, rollers, spray guns and other equipment.
• Inspect and repair painted or finished surfaces and report defects to Engineering management.
• Support preventive maintenance across guest rooms and public areas.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, cleanliness and presentation.
