Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process all guest and hotel laundry quickly and efficiently per item requirements and SOPs.
• Safely store, handle and use chemicals to protect staff from hazards.
• Operate laundry machines according to operating instructions and load limits.
• Separate linen by use and color before washing.
• Collect laundry from guest rooms promptly as required.
• Sort collected items for dry cleaning, pressing or washing as needed.
• Verify items are properly processed before delivery to rooms.
• Deliver laundry to rooms while respecting 'Do Not Disturb' requests and noting billing details to cashiering.
• Assist colleagues with tasks and other related hotel duties as assigned.
• Ensure uniforms are in good repair and properly cleaned.
• Maintain records for inventory of uniforms and other items.
• Adopt measures to minimize waste of materials and amenities in the department.
• Coordinate with laundry to meet condition standards and alert Housekeeping on re-order needs.
