Job summary

Jumeirah Group is seeking a Waiter/ress for Olivine Restaurant at Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre in Dubai. You will demonstrate menu knowledge, uphold service standards, and assist guests with local information while coordinating with kitchen and service teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong English skills, a guest-focused attitude, and the ability to work under pressure within a luxury hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Higher Secondary School certification required; Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; additional languages are preferred.
• Cheerful, friendly, and guest-focused personality with flexibility in handling guest requests.
• Strong teamwork, leadership, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent problem-solving, follow-up, and communication skills with Front Office, Security, F&B, and Housekeeping teams.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of all menu items, F&B Service procedures and Jumeirah Hygiene Standards.
• Recognise customer dissatisfaction promptly and take action to resolve according to procedures.
• Knowledgeable of all in-house services and be able to assist guests when questioned.
• Provide a link between kitchen/bar and service areas, maintaining open communication with F&B Production.
• Ensure service stations are cleared and re-stocked during service, identify customer needs and special requirements.
