Job summary

AimGulf is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage professional for an on-site role at a luxury hotel in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The position focuses on prompt, courteous service to guests, handling daily VIP arrivals and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction across all F&B outlets.

The role requires knowledge of menu items and preparation methods, cash handling proficiency and a strong commitment to safety, sanitation and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Has prior experience within a Luxury hotel/established restaurant environment.
• Fluent English; Arabic and French are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read daily events to acknowledge VIP arrivals.
• Describe menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods to guests.
• Present children’s menus when appropriate and describe specials.
• Serve and clear food and beverage items professionally.
• Use POS system to ring up sales, print checks, close checks and complete cash-out procedures.
• Carry trays, bus and reset tables with linen, china, glass and silver.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and escalate issues to management as needed.
• Follow cash and credit card procedures per accounting guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly restaurant throughout service.
• Ensure service and storage areas are safe and clean.
