Job summary

InterContinental Fujairah Resort is seeking a Food and Beverage Intern to support our guest service and kitchen operations. You will work closely with the team to deliver outstanding service, assist with food and beverage preparation, and help maintain presentation standards.

This internship offers hands-on experience in a luxury hotel environment, flexible to shift patterns, and an opportunity to learn from seasoned colleagues across departments.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field.
• Previous experience/On job training in a similar position.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
• Flexible to work nights, weekends and/or holidays.
• Ability to carry/move items, stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests and take beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner.
• Be attentive to guest's needs and provide attentive service.
• Prepare food and beverages for service and present food according to health and presentation standards.
• Clear and clean tables in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Perform department/outlet opening or closing duties and maintain stations.
• Follow hotel safety protocols and report incidents to supervisor or manager on duty.
