Job summary

Edge Resourcing is seeking an experienced Department Manager for a flagship luxury retail store in Dubai. You will supervise daily department operations, drive sales targets, coach a team of at least 10 staff, and ensure exceptional customer service, merchandising standards, and stock control.

Fluency in English is essential; Italian or Arabic is a plus. This role requires 3+ years in department leadership within luxury retail, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent training.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years as Department Manager or Assistant Store/Assistant Department Manager.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or any other Bachelor's with supported training.
• Experience in Luxury Retail is a must.
• Ability to lead and work with a team of at least 10 staff.
• Proven ability commercially and operationally.
• Ideally fluent in Italian or Arabic with excellent command of English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day department operations and review sales figures to meet targets.
• Monitor staff performance in customer service and ensure courteous service.
• Coach and train staff on customer service disciplines and product knowledge.
• Resolve customer issues and maintain an accurate customer database.
• Organize department layout, merchandising, and visual displays to enhance appeal.
• Verify stock at shift start/end, replenish per season and ensure stock availability.
