Job summary

Al Tayer Motors in the UAE seeks a seasoned Workshop Manager to lead after-sales operations and drive profitability across service activities.

The role requires a mechanical engineering background, 7+ years in workshop leadership within luxury automotive brands, and strong skills in budgeting, people development, and strategic planning. You will ensure quality, safety, and high customer satisfaction while aligning with the Group's standards.

Qualifications

Graduate degree in mechanical/technical engineering with management qualification.
At least 7 years of workshop management experience in auto brands.
Understanding of fleet (B2B) and consumer marketing (B2C).
Strong leadership and resources planning skills.
Ability to communicate effectively and negotiate well; capable of leading meetings.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement After Sales strategy for the service function.
Create policies and procedures for the Workshop aligned with Group strategy.
Monitor and report effectiveness to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Manage Workshop budget, control expenses within the operating plan.
Supervise daily workshop activities and optimize resource utilization.
Ensure safety, tool maintenance, and adherence to workshop processes.
Lead and motivate teams, plan workload and ensure deadlines.
Coordinate training with HR to meet service standards.
