Job summary

Kempinski Hotels in Dubai seeks a Gym Attendant to welcome and assist residents and guests at the fitness facilities. You will uphold Kempinski Residences Standards, ensure a pristine and safe environment, and act as the first and last helpful impression on arrival and departure on the gym floor.

You will guide workouts, answer queries, perform equipment orientation tours, maintain cleanliness, log issues, and collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional service in a multicultural setting.

Qualifications

• Eligible for a working permit in country of hire and locally available.
• Minimum 2 years in a similar position.
• Preferably within a 5-star property or residences.
• Proven track record with good progression.
• Mature and customer focused.
• Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment.
• Fluent in English (verbally and written).
• Any additional language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming arriving residents and guests and assisting in a friendly, caring manner.
• Answer requests and questions in a friendly, caring manner.
• Handle registration protocols for gym entry and exit.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards on the fitness floor.
• Assist residents and guests with technical knowledge of machines and workouts.
• Conduct equipment orientation tours and advise on equipment use.
• Log, report, and escalate broken equipment to residence management when needed.
• Track inventory and ensure towels, amenities, and beverages are stocked.
• Work with the team to ensure a high standard of hospitality and service.
