A dynamic maritime solutions provider, founded in the late 2010s and headquartered in Dubai, UAE, is seeking a Mid-Senior Lube Trader to join its established Dubai office. This role offers the opportunity to enhance the company’s lubricant trading operations in the Middle East, focusing on oil majors, and to contribute to a high-performing team in a key global shipping hub.

The company specialises in on-demand voyage management solutions, including bunker procurement, vessel performance, and port disbursement management, serving vessel owners, managers, and operators worldwide. With a presence in eight locations globally, the firm is recognized for its innovative, technology-driven approach, leveraging tools like the Voyage Operations Suite to optimize commercial operations and deliver measurable value to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with oil majors and key stakeholders in the Middle East’s maritime and energy sectors, focusing on marine lubricant trading.
• Lube Trading : Execute complex lubricant trades, ensuring competitive pricing, reliable supply, and effective risk management for marine-grade oils (e.g., engine oils, hydraulic fluids).
• Market Analysis : Provide clients with insights on lubricant market trends, pricing dynamics, and supply chain developments, leveraging proprietary data and industry expertise.
• Collaboration : Work closely with the Dubai team to enhance trading strategies, streamline operations, and deliver exceptional client service.
• Industry Presence : Represent the company at regional and global industry events, conferences, and client meetings to strengthen market leadership.
• Compliance : Ensure all trading activities comply with international maritime regulations (e.g., MARPOL) and industry standards for lubricant quality and supply.
