Job description

We are looking for a skilled Low Voltage Technician experienced in cable laying, installation, and termination for various low voltage and communication systems, including PAGA, Fibre Optic, SMATV, CAT6, Rack Termination, Fire & Gas, IPTV, Radio Paging, and CCTV.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute cable pulling and laying (underground, tray, conduit) for LV/ELV systems.
• Perform termination of CAT6, coaxial, fiber optic, and multicore cables.
• Carry out proper glanding, ferruling, dressing, and labeling of all terminations.
• Assist in junction box installation, field device mounting, and rack cabinet terminations.
• Follow approved drawings, cable schedules, and routing plans.
• Support basic continuity testing and loop checking under supervision.
• Work in coordination with supervisors, QA/QC, and safety teams on-site.
• Adhere to site-specific safety rules, especially in hazardous (EX) areas.

Desired Candidate Profile

• ITI or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Telecommunications.
• Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience in cable laying and terminations.
• Experience in oil & gas or industrial projects preferred (ADNOC experience is a plus).
• Familiar with basic tools for cable preparation and termination.
• Understanding of ATEX gland termination and safe practices in zone-rated areas is an advantage.
