Job summary

MCG Asia in Dubai is seeking an experienced C++ Developer to design, develop and enhance a high-performance trading platform used within sophisticated financial markets. You will collaborate with engineers, traders and quantitative analysts across the lifecycle from design to deployment and support.

The role covers areas such as market data, order management, execution, pricing or risk, depending on the team needs and your background.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of object-oriented design, data structures and algorithms.
• Experience building performance-sensitive, concurrent or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with multithreading, networking, memory management and performance optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-performance applications using modern C++.
• Build reliable and scalable components for a trading or financial markets platform.
• Work on performance-critical, low-latency or high-throughput systems.
• Collaborate with traders, quantitative analysts, product specialists and other software engineers.
• Analyse and resolve complex technical and production issues.
• Improve the performance, stability and scalability of existing systems.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
