A leading hospitality company in Dubai is seeking a dedicated Security Manager to ensure guest safety and assist with room access. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in emergency response and supervisory roles. Responsibilities include patrolling the property, conducting safety inspections, and resolving conflicts. Ideal for those with strong customer service skills and dedication to excellence.
POSITION SUMMARY
Patrol all areas of the property; secure rooms; assist guests with room access. Conduct emergency response drills, daily physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key control audits. Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems. Authorize, monitor, and document access to secured areas. Assist guests/employees during emergency situations. Respond to accidents, contact EMS, or administer first aid/CPR as required. Gather information and complete reports. Maintain confidentiality of reports/documents and release information only to authorized individuals. Defuse disturbances in accordance with company policies and procedures. Resolve safety hazard situations. Handle all interruptions and complaints. Escort unwelcome persons from the property. Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws. Call for assistance using proper code responses. Provide proper paperwork to employees.
Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model and the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Follow all company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; complete safety training and certifications; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Communicate clearly and professionally; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones with proper etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support team efforts; listen and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns. Ensure adherence to quality standards and additional licensing/registration requirements as applicable. Read and verify information in various formats; visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects. Use computers and point of sale systems to enter and locate work-related information. Respond promptly to work situations; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; move objects weighing up to 50 pounds unaided and over 75 pounds with assistance; perform fine motor tasks requiring hand-eye coordination; navigate narrow or elevated spaces; move over uneven or slippery surfaces; reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None required.
