Job summary

Woopel in Abu-Dhabi seeks a reliable Long Haul Truck Driver (Indian/Malayalee) to transport goods over long distances. You will plan routes, inspect vehicles, and communicate delivery updates to dispatchers and customers.

Requirements include a biometric passport from India or Kerala, proven long-haul driving experience, a clean record, ability to pass background and drug checks, and strong English communication. Housing may be provided.

Qualifications

• Valid biometric passport from India or Kerala state in India.
• Proven long-haul truck driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no traffic violations or accidents in past 3 years.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Good English communication (speaking/reading/writing).
• Physically fit to handle loading/unloading of cargo as needed.
• Knowledge of basic truck maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials long distances.
• Plan routes and schedules for timely deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and cargo.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Communicate with dispatchers, other drivers, and customers regarding delivery updates.
• Complete necessary paperwork for each trip, including logbooks, inspection reports, and delivery receipts.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, repairs, and other expenses.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
