Job summary

India Abroad in Abu-Dhabi is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team. You will handle long-distance hauls, ensure cargo is loaded and unloaded safely, and keep accurate trip logs.

The ideal candidate holds a valid driver's license with a clean record, can follow traffic laws and safety procedures, and is comfortable working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Remuneration is negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Experience driving trucks over long distances.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading cargo
• Transporting goods between terminals, cities, or states
• Ensuring cargo safety and security at all times
• Maintaining a logbook of all trips
• Following all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Performing regular vehicle maintenance and reporting issues to the supervisor
• Inspecting vehicles before and after trips for mechanical problems
• Communicating with customers in a professional manner
