A well-established Multinational Trading company dealing in Perfumery Products seeks experienced Logistics & Warehouse Officer for their Dubai Warehouse to look after, supervise the everyday warehousing, logistics activities.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring stock is accurately recorded and maintained in the warehouse. Perform regular stock checks and reconcile physical counts with system data.
Receiving and Dispatching Goods: Supervise the receiving and unloading of shipments, ensuring that products are inspected, stored correctly, and documented. Coordinate the picking, packing, and dispatch of orders to ensure timely deliveries.
Warehouse Organization: Ensure that the warehouse is organized, clean, and operates according to health and safety standards. Optimize warehouse layout for efficient product storage and retrieval.
Team Management: Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, ensuring that tasks such as loading/unloading, inventory checks, and order fulfillment are completed efficiently and on time.
Order Fulfillment: Ensure that orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped to customers according to delivery schedules.
Inventory Forecasting: Planning and forecasting Inventory, ensuring running items are available in stock so that maximum fulfillment ratio is maintained, and non-moving items in stocks are avoided.
Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols to minimize the risk of accidents and ensure the warehouse complies with local health and safety regulations.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities. Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse performance and inventory status to management.
Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and proper use of warehouse equipment, pallet jacks, and shelving units. Ensure that all equipment is regularly serviced and in good working conditions.
Problem Resolution: Address any issues related to inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or delays in shipments, ensuring quick resolutions to minimize disruption to operations.
Coordination with Other Departments: Work closely with procurement, sales and finance teams to ensure smooth communication and coordination for inventory and order management.
