Logistics Support - (Immediate Joiner) - 4 Months contract

Job Description:

• Order Management: Coordinate and control communication between sales, customers, and suppliers throughout the entire order cycle. Ensure that orders are correctly entered and processed in the system, from receipt to delivery.
• Order Processing: Review and handle orders from the sales department (local and indent) or distributors. Enter and track orders accurately.
• Supplier Communication: Liaise with product companies and suppliers regarding order placements and any outstanding items to ensure timely processing and fulfillment.
• Logistics Coordination: Recommend the most optimal transportation methods, routes, equipment, and delivery frequencies to ensure efficient delivery from the factory to customers and distributors as per the order requirements.
• Cost Control: Manage logistics cost control by overseeing the necessary documentation workflows related to shipment and receipt of goods into stock. Strive to optimize cost efficiency in the process.
• Documentation: Prepare and manage all shipping documents, including applying for Certificates of Origin for shipments departing from the warehouse.
• Customs Clearance: Take responsibility for customs clearance procedures. Ensure shipping documents are in order, and maintain strong relationships with forwarders and brokers.
• Sales Communication: Ensure timely and accurate delivery information is communicated to the relevant sales divisions. Keep the sales team and customer updated on the progress of orders.
• Invoicing and GRN: Issue invoices in the system (local), prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), and ensure all invoicing activities are completed in a timely manner.
• Auditing Cooperation: Cooperate with auditors by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with auditing processes.
• Inventory & Accounting: Take responsibility for performing inventory checks and ensuring proper documentation for accounting related to shipments and stock.

Knowledge:

• In-depth Knowledge of Shipping Processes: Strong understanding of both international and national shipping procedures.
• SAP Proficiency: Must have hands-on experience with SAP software.
• IT Tools Expertise: Solid knowledge of various IT tools and systems.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in both written and spoken English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• Relevant Experience: A minimum of 2 years of solid experience in logistics, covering operational, administrative, and analytical processes.
