- External interaction - Transport crew, transporters, etc. Especially with transporters - he is the first site-level contact point and is critical for maintaining the company's image.
Activities
- Collaborate closely with plant production planning teams to ensure a seamless supply of additives and packaging materials from the warehouse, utilizing plant logistics vehicles as required.
- Maintain and update the QR label database for packaged additives to guarantee traceability and compliance.
- Oversee accurate entry of inbound product data into SAP systems, coordinating with warehouse and plant staff as necessary.
- Direct, supervise, and motivate shift personnel, ensuring adherence to HSSEQ standards and best practices.
- Respond swiftly to evolving production schedules and transportation needs to maintain operational continuity.
- Support TMMEFZE by reporting anticipated product shortages for the next day, referencing the weekly production schedule.
- Achieve productivity KPIs aligned with HSSEQ and energy management standards.
- Identify and propose system improvements to exceed customer expectations and enhance logistics efficiency.
- Manage inventory effectively, minimizing non-moving or slow-moving stock through collaboration with production and stakeholders.
- Undertake additional logistics-related tasks as delegated by management to support organizational goals.
- Foster strong internal relationships across teams, including contract staff, drivers, and production personnel, to ensure cohesive logistics operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely daily dispatches to meet delivery commitments.
- Manage inbound logistics, including offloading and storing packed additives securely within designated rack systems.
- Supervise warehousing activities, maintaining proper storage standards and inventory control.
- Oversee shift logistics functions to support Lube and GMU production units, ensuring timely service.
- Coordinate outbound logistics, planning and dispatching shipments to meet schedules while complying with QHSE protocols.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize logistics processes, recommending operational improvements.
- Address incidents or hazards promptly by collaborating with HSSEQ Supervisor and Logistics Manager to maintain safety.
- Strictly adhere to all policies, including the use of PPE, and ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
HSSEQ Objectives
- Ensure compliance with all HSSEQ requirements.
- Report near misses, incidents, hazards, and injuries promptly to the Line Manager.
- Uphold the Group's HSSEQ policy and related procedures.
- Support achievement and continuous improvement of KPI and EnPI targets aligned with HSSEQ and Energy goals.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance QHSE and Energy competencies, and facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Lead or contribute to incident investigations as needed.
- Undertake additional duties or projects delegated by management within the scope of the role.
- Adhere to HSSEQ Charter, MAESTRO standards, and policies, demonstrating professionalism and vigilance.
- Follow compliance protocols specific to your responsibilities and enforce safety requirements, including the authority to halt operations if safety is compromised.

- Report any non-compliance or violations promptly to the compliance officer or relevant referent.
Candidate Profile
Knowledge :
- Solid understanding of logistics operations, including forklift usage, documentation, and fleet management.
- Proficiency in forklift driving is essential for overseeing workload distribution involving forklifts.
- Experience managing logistics within an industrial or plant environment.
- Familiarity with HSSEQ management systems.
Skills :
- Effective team collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A valid forklift driving license is required.
Experience :
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant logistics experience, preferably in lubricants or similar industries.
Education :
- Higher secondary education or equivalent minimum.
