Job Overview
As a Logistics Supervisor at Amazon, you will support the daily management of delivery station operations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you ll lead logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates, ensuring that all shipments are handled efficiently and safely. Your core focus will be on labor planning, performance tracking, team development, and implementing process improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on supervisory role that requires flexibility, physical capability, and strong leadership in fast-paced warehouse environments.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee shift planning and workflow execution for receiving, stowing, and dispatch
* Supervise, train, and monitor logistics staff to achieve productivity and quality KPIs
* Conduct daily performance reviews and coaching to build high-performing teams
* Identify and implement process improvements (Kaizens) for operational efficiency
* Ensure strict adherence to Amazon s safety protocols and delivery standards
* Track operational metrics and assist the Operations Manager with performance reporting
* Manage administrative duties, shift schedules, and resource planning
* Support the recruitment and onboarding of new associates
* Perform physical tasks including pushing carts, lifting up to 15 kg, and extended walking
* Maintain flexibility for rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime when needed

Job Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse or logistics operations
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
* Able to work physically demanding shifts and lift up to 49 pounds
* Flexible to work 40+ hours per week, including nights and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with performance metrics, planning, and logistics process improvement
* Exposure to last-mile delivery operations or e-commerce fulfillment environments
