Job responsibilities
- Analyzing Logistics and Inventory processes in the assigned geographical area and recommending improvements to further increase efficiency and reduce costs, ensuring full compliance at all times;
- Through effective coordination with cross-functional teams, will ensure service levels and objectives are met, and smooth realization of projects and business strategies;
- Monitoring and maintaining the highest possible level of accuracy and optimization of inventory through effective control of processes;
- Acts as a troubleshooter in case of urgent situations identified internally or externally, and providing excellent customer service relating to sellable and non-sellable products;
- Provide support to local and central F&A on billing processes and month-end activities, and retail stores through trainings on logistics and inventory flows;
- Support departmental and cross-functional projects ensuring every factor of success (timing, quality, cost);
- On top of any local customs procedural updates, and able to immediately react to any market/economical trend.
Profile
- At least 8 years of experience in the field within the logistics and/or retail industry;
- Flexible to travel within the region as required;
- Strong verbal & written communication skills in English. Arabic preferred;
- Outstanding organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail;
- Ability to work and adapt well in a fast-paced environment and ever-changing market;
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes;
- Exceptional collaboration and negotiation abilities;
- Strong knowledge of SCM softwares: SAP, PowerBI, BW, WMS with Advanced Excel skills;
- BSc/BA in business administration, supply chain management or relevant field;
