About This Role

Plan, execute, and track all inbound and outbound shipments

Manage delivery timelines and proactively flag any delays

Ensure packaging meets compliance for fragile and sensitive hardware

Maintain shipment logs, documentation records, and cost reports

Coordinate closely with procurement and production on shipment scheduling

Handle discrepancy resolution and insurance claims (where relevant)

Interface with customs brokers and logistics providers for timely clearance

Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance for export / import

Must Haves

5+ years of logistics experience in aerospace, defense, or high-value hardware

Expert-level knowledge of shipping documentation and Incoterms

Hands-on experience with customs regulations in UAE, Europe, and the US

Familiarity with freight classification, HTS codes, CoO, dual-use or export control

Detail-oriented, safety-focused, proactive communicator with strong discipline and willingness to learn

Strong stakeholder and vendor coordination skills

Nice to Haves

Understanding of ITAR, EAR, or UAE export control equivalents

Familiarity with space industry logistics or similar regulated goods

Exposure to ERP systems like NetSuite for ASN or shipping coordination

Ability to evaluate and improve freight vendor performance

Familiarity with UAE warehouse regulatory norms
