Essential Qualifications & Experience
3–5 years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, inbound supply chain or a similar operational role.
Previous experience in a start‑up, SME or fast‑growing business, with the ability to work effectively in an evolving environment.
Experience coordinating international shipments with factories, freight forwarders and third‑party logistics providers.
Strong understanding of Incoterms, particularly FOB, EXW, FCA and DDP.
Practical knowledge of international freight operations, including sea, air and rail transportation.
Hands‑on experience using ERP systems for inventory management, goods receipts and stock movements.
Strong proficiency in Excel or similar tools for shipment tracking, reporting and data reconciliation.
Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity, reporting and operational processes.
Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Experience
Background in retail, fashion, apparel or consumer goods.
Experience coordinating shipments from international manufacturing locations.
Familiarity with warehouse operations and third‑party logistics (3PL) providers.
Experience developing logistics tracking systems and operational processes.
Beyond technical experience, we are looking for someone who demonstrates:
Ownership: Takes full responsibility for inbound logistics without requiring constant supervision.
Proactivity: Anticipates delays, identifies discrepancies and resolves issues before they escalates.
Adaptability: Thrives in a fast‑paced environment with changing priorities.
Resourcefulness: Comfortable creating processes and tracking tools where none currently exist.
Commercial Awareness: Understands the balance between transportation costs, delivery timelines and customer commitments.
Hands‑On Approach: Willing to manage operational details rather than simply oversee activities.
This position is particularly suited to someone who has worked in a smaller, entrepreneurial business where flexibility, accountability and initiative are essential.
