Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Logistics Senior Team Leader - Logistics to drive end-to-end supply chain solutions and ensure on-time pickup and delivery of goods across global projects. You will lead a team, optimize transportation, and manage costs, with a focus on SAP and transport management systems in energy sector settings.

The role requires a degree or equivalent logistics experience, 3+ years in logistics, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in logistics or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Logistics with at least 3 additional years of experience.
• Experience in energy sector within the Middle East.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end logistics solutions to achieve on-time pickup and delivery of goods.
• Manage logistics costs to meet budgets and operating plans.
• Lead process redesign in response to changing circumstances and management needs.
• Communicate effectively with other functional areas and influence peers.
• Lead a team and be responsible for their development.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Logistics).

• Experience in Energy sector within the middle east

• Developing regular redesign of processes due to changing circumstances or management needs. Elaboration of process improvement are expected taking into consideration broader functional context.
• Effective communication with other functional areas required. Influencing peers to meet the objectives.
• Service unit providing services to the function or directly to the business.
• Handling work requiring analysis and interpretation. Procedures don't cover all the exceptions. Approaches for exceptions have to be developed.
• Leading a team and be responsible for their development.
