Job Description

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that highlight the benefits of our logistics services.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients, ensuring alignment with company margin goals while meeting customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure seamless implementation of logistics solutions for clients post-sale.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the company’s services and expand professional contacts.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline management for management review.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes in logistics and supply chain management to advise clients accurately.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field to ensure a solid foundational knowledge.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in logistics sales or a closely related industry to demonstrate proven success.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) to enhance credibility.
  • Experience working in international logistics to understand global shipping regulations and practices.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a strong advantage for handling diverse clients.
  • Strong technical skills in logistics software and CRM tools to efficiently manage sales processes and client relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills to effectively close deals and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Proven ability to analyze market data and customer feedback to adapt strategies and improve service offerings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for sales and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
