Job Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced logistics software and tools for tracking shipments and managing fleet operations efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to transportation and customs, mitigating legal risks.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies that align with organizational goals and customer needs, enhancing service levels.
• Establish strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers to negotiate competitive rates and foster collaboration.
• Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies and implement improvement strategies.
• Coordinate and oversee the entire supply chain process to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods, minimizing delays.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits to maintain accuracy and reduce excess stock.
• Monitor and report on logistics performance, providing actionable insights to upper management for decision-making.
• Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Prepare and manage budgets for logistics operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with inventory management systems (IMS) and logistics software; certifications in relevant tools are a plus.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping procedures is essential for managing cross-border logistics.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable for global operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions to drive efficiency.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Proven leadership abilities to manage teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a strong focus on problem-solving and logistics optimization.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have the physical ability to handle logistics-related tasks, including lifting and moving inventory.
• Experience in import and export is essential.
