Job Description

Job Title: Logistics Officer

Job Scope

The Logistics Officer is accountable for overseeing the inbound operations and inventory management. S/He maintains communication with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, custom brokers and others involved in the shipping and delivery of goods.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Manage outbound activities for customer orders
  2. Manage outbound shipments, follow up with clearing and forwarding agents and monitor the turnaround time (TAT)
  3. Process and document letter of credit (LC) for shipments
  4. Coordinate and arrange transportation of shipments to destination
  5. Track shipments and update customers on a timely basis
  6. Cooperate with the sales and warehouse teams for smooth execution of shipments
  7. Coordinate with clearing agents and customs to maximize efficiency in terms of time and quality
  8. Verify customs documentation for exports and transfer of ownership
  9. Manage the stock movement through the warehouse management system
  10. Perform monthly stock audits
  11. Coordinate with the CRM and credit teams for invoicing customer orders
  12. Prepare and maintain the warehouse petty cash
Position Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any other related field

Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
