Project Description:

As a member of our Project Management Consultant (PMC) team, you'll oversee a diverse portfolio of projects that contribute to Abu Dhabi's growth. This includes developing essential infrastructure like transportation networks and utilities, alongside public spaces. You'll also play a role in shaping thriving communities by managing the development of residential housing projects and ensuring the quality of new educational facilities. Furthermore, your expertise will be crucial in overseeing the development of mosques and maximizing urban space through infill development projects. In short, this PMC role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on Abu Dhabi's built environment.

The Role:

Reports to the Logistics Manager and supports the implementation of logistics strategies and plans for project sites.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Implement, monitor, and update the Project Logistics Management Plan.
  2. Interface with consultants and contractors' relevant teams to ensure seamless project operations and timely completion.
  3. Oversee the implementation of logistics arrangements on project sites, ensuring compliance with approved logistics management plans and project deliverables.
  4. Oversee security, traffic management, and equipment allocation across multiple project sites.
  5. Ensure compliance with QHS&E requirements (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) related to logistics operations.
  6. Collaborate with site teams to resolve logistics-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.
  7. Prepare regular reports on logistics performance and site conditions.

Oversee relevant consultant and contractor teams, ensuring logistics management plans align with project requirements. Coordinate with teams to resolve security and logistics issues on project sites. Monitor and report on all logistics arrangements and site operations, including third-party contractors.

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • BSc in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of overall experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in the Middle East.
  • Knowledge of operational aspects of civil and infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and utilities, with experience in construction management.

Additional Skills:

  • Experience managing consultants and contractors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
