Job summary

PeakFleet in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team, coordinating and managing the movement of goods, ensuring timely delivery and efficient supply chain operations.

You will work with suppliers and carriers, monitor inventory levels, prepare shipping documents, track shipments, resolve delays, and continually seek ways to optimize processes while controlling costs. English proficiency is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in logistics coordination or similar role.
• Knowledge of supply chain best practices and regulations.
• Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and stakeholders to schedule and track deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with relevant departments to ensure timely replenishment.
• Prepare shipping documents and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Track shipments and update internal systems accordingly.
• Resolve any issues or delays in delivery promptly.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and address discrepancies.
• Develop relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor performance.
• Continuously look for ways to optimize supply chain processes and reduce costs.
