Job summary

Work Standard in Sharjah, UAE is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage shipping, warehousing and transportation, coordinate with suppliers, track shipments and communicate with customers about order status.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, at least 2 years in logistics, knowledge of import/export procedures and customs, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in logistics coordination or similar role.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and international shipping terms.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Manage inventory levels and track shipments.
• Communicate with customers regarding order status and delivery times.
• Handle customs clearance procedures for imported goods.
• Monitor transportation costs and negotiate rates with carriers.
• Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities.
