Logistics Coordinator – Road Construction

Location: Dubai, UAE

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator with a strong background in logistics operations related to road construction projects. The ideal candidate must be capable of handling fleet operations, coordinating material deliveries, and maintaining accurate logistics records. Mechanical knowledge of light and heavy vehicles is required to support vehicle maintenance scheduling and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate logistics activities for road construction sites across Dubai.
• Manage and track the delivery of materials to project locations in coordination with site and procurement teams.
• Supervise fleet operations, ensuring efficient allocation and maintenance of light and heavy vehicles.
• Maintain up-to-date records for all fleet activities, including registrations, servicing schedules, insurance, and fuel usage.
• Monitor GPS tracking systems and oversee driver activities to ensure compliance with routes and schedules.
• Plan and schedule routine maintenance and repairs in collaboration with the mechanical team.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for timely material transportation and deliveries.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly logistics performance reports.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing for all deliveries and logistics-related transactions.
• Provide logistical support for urgent and high-priority project needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 4–8 years of proven experience in logistics within road construction projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations in Dubai, including delivery planning and material handling.
• Mechanical understanding of light and heavy construction vehicles.
• Proficient in using GPS tracking tools and logistics management systems.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Excellent record-keeping, reporting, and documentation abilities.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.
• Must be currently based in the UAE and ready for immediate joining.
