Jawar AlKhaleej LLC is a leading maritime service provider, offering a broad range of logistics and marine solutions across the region. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our Procurement Department in Dubai.

Role Overview:

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will manage the timely and cost-effective transportation, customs clearance, and delivery of goods and materials across key UAE maritime hubs. You’ll work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal departments to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all logistics and cargo movement related to the procurement function

• Manage shipping documentation, customs clearance processes, and delivery schedules

• Liaise with freight forwarding companies and local authorities to ensure smooth cargo handling

• Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and relevant documentation

• Schedule pickups and deliveries to/from DMC, Port Rashid, Jebel Ali, Sharjah, and other strategic ports

• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any logistical issues or delays

• Support internal departments with logistical and transport-related needs

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies

• Other ad hoc requirements as they arise

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics coordination, ideally within the maritime and freight forwarding sectors

• Strong working knowledge of Dubai’s port facilities and logistics hubs: Dubai Maritime City (DMC), Port Rashid, Jebel Ali Port, Sharjah

• In-depth understanding of customs clearance procedures and documentation

• Valid UAE driving license (own car not required)

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment
