A Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the supply chain operations of an organization. Responsibilities

1. Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
2. Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and transport companies to arrange shipments and deliveries.
3. Track shipments and update relevant parties on delivery statuses.
4. Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics transactions.
5. Prepare and process shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
6. Work closely with warehouse and transportation teams to optimize efficiency.
7. Manage logistics costs by negotiating rates with carriers and seeking cost-effective solutions.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
9. Address and resolve shipping delays, damages, or discrepancies.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation management.
3. Strong understanding of logistics procedures, shipping regulations, and inventory control.
4. Proficiency in logistics software, Microsoft Office, and database management.
5. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
