Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the efficient coordination and execution of all logistics activities within our cold chain warehouse in Dubai. This role requires a strong understanding of cold chain logistics, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The coordinator will ensure timely and accurate movement of goods, maintain optimal inventory levels, and adhere to all regulatory and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations:Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing.
• Manage warehouse inventory, including stock control, cycle counting, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with cold chain protocols and temperature monitoring requirements.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization and maintain organized storage systems.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Monitor and manage the condition of warehouse equipment and facilities.
• Transportation Management:Coordinate transportation schedules and routes, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
• Liaise with transportation providers to secure competitive rates and efficient services.
• Track shipments and provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders.
• Resolve transportation issues and delays promptly.
• Ensure all transport related documentation is correctly filled.
• Inventory Management:Maintain accurate inventory records and generate regular inventory reports.
• Monitor stock levels and anticipate demand fluctuations.
• Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Documentation and Compliance:Prepare and maintain all necessary logistics documentation, including shipping documents, invoices, and customs paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including food safety and customs requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of temperature logs and other critical data.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations.
• Communication and Coordination:Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries and concerns.
• Resolve operational issues and provide timely solutions.
• Data Entry and Reporting:Enter data into warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
• Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably in a cold chain or food industry environment.
• Strong understanding of cold chain logistics principles and practices.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Knowledge of Dubai customs regulations and import/export procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Valid UAE Driving License is a plus.
