Qualifications

Primary Function / Job Purpose

To ensure efficient coordination of the logistics and distribution process, from order placement to final delivery. This includes managing shipment schedules, documentation, carrier coordination, and inventory flow, ensuring timely and cost-effective operations aligned with company policies.

Scope / Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate domestic and international inbound and outbound shipments
  • Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of materials and finished goods
  • Schedule and liaise with transporters, freight forwarders, and customs agents
  • Monitor real-time shipment tracking and resolve transit delays
  • Ensure compliance with UAE customs, port authority, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain documentation logs for audits and reporting
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team for accurate stock handling and space utilization
  • Monitor and track inventory movement across internal and external locations
  • Act as a point of contact for sales, warehouse, finance, and procurement teams
  • Update stakeholders on shipment status and exceptions
  • Ensure alignment between delivery schedules and customer commitments
  • Maintain logistics data in ERP system
  • Recommend cost-saving opportunities in routing or carrier selection

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of UAE logistics processes and customs clearance including Dubai Trade portal
  • Proficient in ERP systems, MS Excel, and shipment tracking tools
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills; proficiency in English & Hindi mandatory.
  • Detail-oriented, self-organized, and efficient under pressure
  • Strong multitasking and time management abilities

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in logistics coordination or freight operations
  • Experience with international shipping and Incoterms is a plus
  • UAE experience preferred

Compensation

  • Salary: AED 4,000 – 5,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)
