Logistics and Warehouse Manager

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Logistics and Warehouse Manager to oversee all logistics, transportation, and warehouse operations. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of goods, optimizing inventory levels, and maintaining smooth warehouse operations. The role requires coordination with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams, and leadership of a warehouse team to deliver on-time, cost-effective logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute logistics strategies to optimize transportation of goods and materials.
2. Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities for smooth and timely delivery.
3. Manage day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfilment, and shipping.
4. Optimize warehouse layout and storage space for operational efficiency.
5. Implement best practices for inventory control and accuracy in picking/packing operations.
6. Monitor inventory levels and implement procedures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
7. Lead, train, and motivate logistics and warehouse staff to achieve operational targets.
8. Continuously improve logistics and warehouse processes to increase productivity.
9. Ensure compliance with safety standards, customs regulations, and trade compliance.
10. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for reliable inbound flow of goods.
11. Address customer inquiries, delivery timelines, and order status updates.
12. Implement customer-centric logistics solutions to enhance satisfaction.

Desired Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management, preferably within the electronics or consumer goods industry. They possess strong organizational skills, hands-on experience with warehouse systems, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This candidate is well-versed in logistics strategy, inventory control, and team leadership. They understand the importance of efficient space management, vendor coordination, and timely product delivery. Familiarity with ERP and WMS tools, strong analytical capabilities, and a track record of process improvement and cost optimization are essential. A collaborative mindset, adaptability, and strong communication skills will ensure success in this role.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or Warehouse Manager, preferably in a similar industry.
3. Strong knowledge of logistics operations, transportation, and supply chain management.
4. Experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and order fulfilment processes.
5. Proficiency in using logistics software, warehouse management systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
