Job Summary:
Manage and streamline logistics operations including inventory, billing, documentation, and export container coordination.
Ensure smooth and compliant movement of goods, both locally and internationally.
Liaise with internal teams, customers, and vendors for seamless logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage stock levels and maintain accurate records.
Coordinate with warehouses for proper storage and dispatch.
Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
Generate inventory reports for management. - Billing and Invoicing:
Prepare timely and accurate invoices based on orders and shipments.
Resolve discrepancies with vendors/customers.
Track payments and ensure timely settlement of invoices.
Maintain billing records for audits and reports. - Documentation:
Prepare shipping labels, invoices, customs, and export/import documentation.
Ensure document compliance with international shipping laws.
Coordinate documentation with vendors and clients before dispatch. - Export Container Coordination:
Schedule and monitor export container loading and delivery.
Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers.
Ensure correct documentation: packing lists, shipping instructions, export declarations.
Provide shipment tracking updates to customers. - Customer & Vendor Communication:
Act as main logistics contact for customers and vendors.
Coordinate across departments (sales, warehouse, finance).
Resolve logistics, shipment, and invoicing concerns professionally. - Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure adherence to local and international logistics regulations.
Support in logistics performance reports and management updates.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
Experience: 2-3 years in logistics/supply chain with export/inventory focus.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word).
Familiarity with logistics systems like SAP, Oracle, ERP.
Understanding of inventory tracking and billing systems.
Strong grasp of export documentation and international shipping processes.
Soft Skills:
Excellent attention to detail and task prioritization.
Strong communication (verbal and written) skills.
