Job Overview: The Local Manager (LMPM) for MPM is responsible for efficiently managing the Medical Provider networks. The Assistant Manager/LMPM is expected to negotiate and facilitate onboarding of Medical Providers with the goal of maintaining a diverse and financially beneficial portfolio for Allianz. The Assistant Manager supports the MPM Manager/Senior Manager in leading the team and managing the assigned region's medical providers. The position reports to the MPM Manager/Senior Manager of the region.
What you do:
- Support and execute strategies devised by the Global & Regional Head of MPM.
- Deliver objectives within the scope of Medical Provider Management locally and regionally.
- Lead projects related to global, regional, or local regulations to ensure business continuity.
- Develop and maintain a unified AP Medical Provider Network in the region.
- Handle procurement with integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Achieve targets set at local, regional, and global levels.
- Expand the Provider Network as per local business needs at optimized costs.
- Manage empanelment requests and acquire medical services aligned with MPM strategy.
- Implement and enforce the Delegation of Authority Policy (DoAP).
- Negotiate with Medical Providers to reduce claim costs and improve network efficiency.
- Provide cost analysis and support cost containment initiatives.
- Negotiate tariffs and service inclusions to maintain competitiveness.
- Enhance revenue structures and generate savings in line with regional strategies.
- Ensure compliance and update procedures and checklists accordingly.
- Support periodic reporting and monitor provider performance.
- Maintain accurate provider data and web portal updates.
- Negotiate health checkup packages and special schemes with providers, including SLA specifications.
- Report regularly to management and escalate issues as needed.
- Manage complaint resolution and process improvements.
- Integrate with Allianz Partners' technical infrastructure for seamless operations.
- Collaborate across departments to resolve queries and ensure service quality.
- Ensure business continuity and high service levels within the region.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's / Master’s Degree; Medical background preferred.
- 3-5 years' experience in network administration, preferably in healthcare or insurance sectors.
- Physical fitness to perform duties.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English, French, and Arabic; additional languages are advantageous.
