The Opportunity

Act as business partner to the Local Domestic Sales Unit project management team, responsible for all financial and commercial matters and actively driving project performance. The individual will manage the DSU project portfolio in the UAE market.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Tender Stage – Review and take joint responsibility with the Tender Manager on financial, commercial, and tax aspects; ensure tender calculations are correct; prepare cash‑flow and exposure curves; participate in negotiations with clients, consortia, subcontractors, and suppliers; provide input on local risk review processes.
• Project Execution – Prepare a Project Financial Execution Plan as part of the overall plan covering revenue recognition, billing, payment securities, consortium administration, import duties, VAT, etc.; ensure accuracy of project balance sheet and income statement and of cash flow forecasts; guide and validate invoices; manage currency risk, tax issues, bonds, and guarantees; co‑ordinate monthly project reviews with the Project Manager; jointly oversee financial aspects including estimate at completion and cost‑to‑complete forecasts; monitor organizational KPIs to optimize cost structures.
• Financial Reporting – Deliver monthly closings, forecasts, budgets, and full financial packages on time; perform quality checks and analytical reviews of major fluctuations and FX impacts; maintain transparency in reporting and disclosure; conduct ad‑hoc analyses and support transformation initiatives.
• Compliance & Internal Control – Follow up on internal audit reports; ensure timely implementation of corrective actions; maintain corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, and adherence to group charter and finance directives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or equivalent with solid finance background; professional accounting qualification is a plus.
• Experience in finance with exposure to project business and SAP.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under tight deadlines, and collaborate with cross‑functional, cross‑cultural teams.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and challenges.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
