Job summary

Hitachi Energy L.L.C. in Dubai seeks a finance professional to act as a business partner to the Local Domestic Sales Unit Project Manager, handling all financial and commercial matters and driving project performance.

You will manage tender economics, cash flow, VAT and tax aspects, and prepare project execution plans with accurate balance sheets and forecasts, ensuring timely reporting and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or equivalent with solid finance background.
• Professional accounting qualification is a plus.
• Experience with SAP in a finance/project environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as business partner to the Local Domestic Sales Unit Project Manager on all financial and commercial matters.
• Prepare and monitor project financials, including cash-flow, revenue recognition, and forecasts.
• Support tender negotiations on financial, commercial and tax terms; ensure correct tender calculations.
• Prepare Project Financial Execution Plans and oversee balance sheet and income statement accuracy.
• Drive monthly closings, budgets, and full financial packages; monitor KPIs and FX impacts.
• Ensure internal controls, governance and compliance across projects.
