Job Description
The Lobby Lounge & Concept Store Manager is a dual-role position responsible for leading the operations of the Lobby Lounge —a vibrant social hub that reflects SO / ’s avant-garde spirit—and the Style Curator , which showcases curated fashion, art, and lifestyle pieces. This role blends hospitality, retail flair, and creative storytelling , ensuring both spaces deliver an exceptional guest experience aligned with the SO / brand DNA.
Key Responsibilities
Lobby Lounge Operations :
- Oversee daily operations of the Lobby Lounge, ensuring seamless service and a stylish, welcoming atmosphere.
- Lead the team in delivering exceptional guest experiences through personalized and intuitive service.
- Collaborate with the culinary and mixology teams to maintain innovative menus, signature drinks, and seasonal activations.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure brand standards are consistently met.
Style Curator Operations :
- Manage the daily retail operations of the Concept Store, ensuring visual merchandising, stock management, and sales performance align with brand expectations.
- Curate and showcase a selection of high-end fashion, design, and lifestyle items that resonate with SO / ’s chic and contemporary aesthetic.
- Build strong relationships with retail partners and local designers to maintain fresh and exclusive product offerings.
- Train and inspire the team to provide elevated, story-driven retail service.
Leadership & Collaboration :
- Recruit, train, and motivate team members for both areas, ensuring a culture of creativity, excellence, and brand passion.
- Work closely with Marketing and Events to design cross-promotions, collaborations, and pop-up activations connecting the Lobby Lounge and Style Curated experiences.
- Analyze performance metrics, implement improvement plans, and drive revenue growth through innovative ideas and premium guest engagement.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality or retail management , preferably in a lifestyle or luxury environment.
- Strong background in F&B service and / or boutique retail operations .
- Passion for fashion, design, and contemporary culture .
- Excellent leadership, communication, and guest relation skills.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (especially Arabic) are a plus.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail, style, and presentation.
