Lobby Lounge Manager

Shangri-La Hotel Qaryat al Beri, Abu Dhabi

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lobby Lounge Manager. The successful candidate will oversee the operation, management, and overall performance of the Lobby Lounge restaurant. The Lobby Lounge Manager will inspire colleagues daily to uphold the high standards of service for which Shangri-La is renowned.

What will you do?

  • Implement and monitor service standards and procedures through training, supervision, and control
  • Schedule staff rotations to ensure full coverage and maximize productivity
  • Motivate, educate, and develop staff to enhance efficiency and confidence
  • Address guest complaints promptly and effectively
  • Greet and seat guests courteously and promptly at well-maintained tables
  • Ensure timely service to all guests
  • Check guest satisfaction and gather feedback
  • Maintain high standards of personal grooming and uniform compliance among staff
  • Continuously seek ways to improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with the Chef to ensure quality and cost control of food
  • Coordinate with the Chief Steward and bar service for smooth operations
  • Ensure the outlet maintains high standards of cleanliness, tidiness, and orderliness to handle high guest turnover
