Livestock Specialist – Zayed City, UAE. We are seeking a Livestock Specialist to join our team in Zayed City, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will have experience working with animals and a passion for livestock development.

Responsibilities
  • Developing strategies for improving livestock production efficiency
  • Monitoring the health and well-being of animals in the farm
  • Providing advice on feed and animal nutrition
  • Identifying new breeds of livestock for improved production
  • Maintaining records of animal births, deaths, and vaccinations
  • Evaluating existing livestock to identify potential development opportunities
  • Liaising with veterinarians to ensure the correct treatment of animals
  • Assisting with research projects related to animal care and welfare
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine or related field
  • Proven experience working with animals such as cows, sheep, goats, pigs or horses
  • Knowledge of animal nutrition and health needs
  • Ability to identify health problems in animals and take corrective action accordingly
