Job summary

Asharq Media Network in Dubai seeks a seasoned Studio Director to oversee direct live and recorded broadcasts, ensuring flawless execution of scripts, visuals, and technical elements. This key role coordinates with producers, presenters, and technical teams to maintain top-tier production quality.

You will lead camera operators, floor managers, sound engineers, and staff, implement creative lighting and studio movements, and ensure adherence to Asharq's standards in a high-pressure newsroom

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Film & Television, Broadcasting, or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in live TV production, with at least 3 years as Studio Director at a major news network.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage teams in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct live and recorded news programs ensuring smooth execution of scripts, visuals, and technical elements.
• Coordinate with producers, presenters, and technical teams to maintain high production quality.
• Implement creative camera angles, lighting setups, and studio movements to enhance storytelling.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during live broadcasts to minimize disruptions.
• Supervise and guide cameramen, floor managers, sound engineers, and other crew members.
• Adhere to Asharq's guidelines and technical standards.
