Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology in Dubai seeks an experienced audio and lighting engineer to set up, operate, and dismantle professional AV equipment for live events. You will program lighting consoles, manage digital audio mixers, and ensure optimal sound quality and lighting performance.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting issues during events, coordinating with project managers and clients, and conducting routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an audio and lighting engineer or AV technician.
• Strong knowledge of digital mixing consoles, signal flow, microphones, speakers, and lighting fixtures.
• Experience with event production, live events, exhibitions, and conferences.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• English language proficiency.
• Arabic language preferred.
• Degree or diploma in audio engineering, lighting technology, electronics, or a related field.
• Experience with major industry brands.
• Relevant certifications in AV or event technology.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and dismantle professional audio and lighting equipment.
• Program and operate lighting consoles and digital audio mixers.
• Ensure optimal sound quality and lighting performance during events.
• Troubleshoot technical issues before and during live productions.
• Coordinate with project managers, production teams, and clients to achieve event requirements.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inventory checks of equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and industry best practices.
