Job summary

Role Description The Light Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Light Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining lighting systems for events, including concerts, weddings, conferences, and corporate functions. Typical duties include rigging and focusing lights, programming lighting consoles, executing lighting cues during rehearsals and live events, and ensuring all equipment is safe, functional, and aligned with event designs. The role also involves collaborating with audio and video teams, supporting stage setup, troubleshooting technical issues on-site, and preparing equipment for transport and storage. The Light Technician is expected to follow health and safety standards, meet event timelines, and provide professional support to clients and event organizers.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess practical skills in lighting setup and operation, including experience with stage lighting fixtures, dimmers, controllers, and lighting consoles.
• Candidates should possess technical skills in troubleshooting electrical and lighting issues, understanding power distribution, and maintaining lighting equipment.
