Job description

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Type: Onsite Full-time

Join a team working onsite with one of the largest telecom operators in Dubai. You will be a subject matter expert in Unix, Infrastructure Cloud, and OpenShift, ensuring infrastructure operations and service availability meet SLA expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support Linux/UNIX systems (RHEL, SUSE, HP-UX, Solaris)
• Design, implement & manage OpenShift clusters
• Automate tasks using Bash, Python, Ansible
• Perform OS performance tuning, patching, and upgrades
• Support CI/CD, Ceph, tools integration & firmware updates
• Coordinate with DevOps, security, application & vendor teams
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and container issues
• Plan and execute system changes with minimal downtime
• Provide RCA reports and technical consultation

Requirements:

• 8+ years of IT Infrastructure experience
• Strong in Linux, OpenShift (certified), and scripting
• Experience with Ansible, CI/CD (Argo CD), Kubernetes
• Understanding of virtualization, ITSM (HPSM), and NFVI
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related
• Linux & RedHat OpenShift certifications (must)
